Thank you for visiting our website. As a registered charity we are conscious of our responsibility to provide you with a framework to begin the process of getting you to focus on your forthcoming retirement.Picture of John Higgins

In the past, retirement was seen by some people as a 'cliff edge' and that you simply dropped out of work one day to start a new life of winding down away from the workplace. Today, retirement should be viewed far differently and some may see it as a start to a new life of leisure while others may want a more flexible option of continuing to work into later life and into managing a more phased retirement

Here in the Retirement Planning Council we realise that there are no right answers or it being a case of 'one size fits all'. Rather we realise that for each individual, even within the same household, the transition to retirement and life in retirement means very different things. Our task in providing pre- retirement courses is to cater for this individuality. I am personally satisfied that our team of trainers meet that need in a very special way.
