Retirement Planning Council of Ireland

About Us

Established in 1974, the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland (RPC) is a Registered Charity, a not-for-profit organisation, wholly independent of all financial institutions and with a voluntary board of directors.

Having worked with organisations and individuals across Ireland for 50 years, we help people to manage the transition from work into retirement. Our carefully designed  programmes are delivered by industry experts and provide guidance on the personal, financial and lifestyle changes that come with retirement.

Our holistic programmes are held nationwide and can be delivered online. Our course specialists also deliver tailored sessions to address issues or concerns, including Executive Planning (one-to-one) courses, and Mid-Career Planning. The sessions help you understand what to expect in your retirement and how best to prepare for the exciting time ahead.

The Retirement Planning Council is the only organisation to offer you continued support right the way through your retirement. Once you have completed a programme, you can then contact the Retirement Planning Council team with questions as they arise for the rest of your life at no extra charge.

The Retirement Planning Council aims to be the leading body of resources that helps people manage the transition from work into retirement.
