We have a small team based in our support office on Camden Street in Dublin who co-ordinate and manage the delivery of our courses around the country.
Derek Bell Chief Operations Officer
Derek has worked in a variety of leadership roles in multinational, indigenous and not-for-profit organisations. He also ran his own coaching and training business for a number of years, focusing on individuals and groups in all stages of career transition. Derek is a voluntary member of the Board of The Migraine Association of Ireland and of Merchants Quay Ireland. He was appointed to the role of COO with the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland in 2016.
Yvonne Power Office Manager
Yvonne has worked in administration for over 20 years and has held positions in Finance and Administration in service organisations. Since joining RPC in 2015 Yvonne has documented many procedures in enable the organisation comply with the Governance Code and GDPR requirements. She holds qualifications in Prince2 Project Management and is a Certified Trainer with Diplomas in Design and Sports Psychology.
Nora Waldron Course Coordinator
Nora has worked with the Retirement Planning Council since 2010. Prior to that she held various roles in Ulster Bank. She was part of a team involved in introducing new systems to her area and the training of staff. She also has accounts experience and has completed year 1 of the Accounting Technician course. She was a team leader in the payments section dealing with payments between the banks. She represented the bank at IPSO meetings relating to payment clearing. She has a Diploma in Financial Services and also Microsoft Office Specialist Qualifications in Word, Excel and Outlook. She deals with all aspects of our courses from the enquiry stage to bookings, co-ordinating speakers & venues and the organisation of course materials ensuring courses are run smoothly and efficiently. Apart from sharing a job and a desk Nora and Millie share the same welcoming personality to all our clients. Our clients are important to us and we like to ensure they receive the best that RPC has to offer. Nora works Monday Tuesday and Thursday
Millie Mangan Course Administrator
Millie is with the Council three years having come from HP, EDS and Ulster Bank. She was a Shift Leader managing a team of people in a deadline driven pressurised environment. She also interacted with clients and other regulatory bodies on a daily basis. She brings many organisational and people skills to the RPC. She deals with all aspects of our courses from the enquiry stage to bookings, co-ordinating speakers & venues and the organisation of course materials ensuring courses are run smoothly and efficiently. Apart from sharing a job and a desk Millie and Nora share the same welcoming personality to all our clients. Our clients are important to us and we like to ensure they receive the best that RPC has to offer. Millie works Wednesday and Friday.
Ursula Gannon Office Administrator
Ursula joined The Retirement Planning Council of Ireland in 2008 having previously worked in Ireland, the UK and Canada. Her experience has been gained in the Corporate Finance, Retail and Telecommunications sectors. She provides a warm welcome to course attendees when they come in to our training facility and in addition carries out administrative and support duties.
