We have a small team based in our support office in Dublin who co-ordinate and manage the delivery of our courses around the country.
Laura Farrell Chief Executive Officer
Laura is a senior leader, with a passion for growing purpose led organisations that make a difference. She has worked in a variety of leadership roles in multinational, indigenous and not-for-profit organisations. Laura was a voluntary member of the Board of The IFSC Inner City Trust until the end of 2020. She was appointed to the role of CEO with the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland in December 2020.
Yvonne Power Office Manager
Yvonne has worked in administration for over 30 years and has held positions in Finance and Administration in service organisations. Since joining RPC in 2015 Yvonne has responsibility for the management of the Organisation's accounts, developed processes and procedures to enable the Organisation comply with the Charities Regulator Governance Code and GDPR requirements. She holds qualifications in Prince 2 Project Management and is a Certified Trainer (NUI Maynooth - Certificate in Training and Continual Education), Diplomas in Design and Sports Psychology and Website Design and qualified as a Quality Management System Lead Auditor.
Nora Waldron Course Coordinator
Nora has worked with the Retirement Planning Council since 2010. Prior to that she held various roles in Ulster Bank. She was part of a team involved in introducing new systems to her area and the training of staff. She also has accounts experience and has completed year 1 of the Accounting Technician course. She was a team leader in the payments section dealing with payments between the banks. She represented the bank at IPSO meetings relating to payment clearing. She has a Diploma in Financial Services and also Microsoft Office Specialist Qualifications in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Michelle O'Síoráin Marketing, Communications and Programme Management Executive
Prior to joining the RPC, Michelle held the position of Assistant Academic Instructor at the Centre of Talented Youth Ireland (CTYI) and Web Master, where she worked on the development of two affiliated organizations websites (ECHA.info and ETSN.eu).
Michelle will work to develop the RPC’s digital presence and online offering, following the recent launch of the charity’s eLearning platform, RPCLearn. Working closely with senior management, she will take an active role in the company’s overall communications strategy.
Nora and Michelle both deal with all aspects of our courses from the enquiry stage to bookings, co-ordinating speakers & venues and the organisation of course materials ensuring courses are run smoothly and efficiently.
Nora works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Michelle is available all week but handles Course Coordination Thursdays and Fridays.
